South Tour
Leaving Invergordon, we head south through villages and towns on the way to Drumnadrochit and Loch Ness. Along the way you will experience traveling through farming countryside, Highland moorlands and higher ground before descending into the village of Drumnadrochit. Here you can learn about the loch and the history of the Loch Ness Monster at the 5* exhibition centre.
Urquhart Castle is next stop which will provide a great opportunity for photographs of Loch Ness. The castle is a medieval fortress dating back to the 6th century, here you can explore the castle remains and learn about the history at the exhibition center which includes a short cinema film.
We will now travel to Inverness, showing you around the city. Here you will get the chance to go shopping either in the town center or you can visit the James Pringle woollen mill which has a large selection of woollens, cashmeres and tweeds. There is also a large gift shop and restaurant.
We will travel back to Invergordon over what is known locally as the Black Isle.
