Norwegian Star was built by the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. Construction began on Norwegian Star in 2000 and was completed in mid-2001, with the ship put into service later that year. Originally circumnavigating the Hawaiian Islands since its introduction, Norwegian Star was moved to the Pacific Coast of North America in 2004.

Silver Cloud is a small cruise ship operated by Silversea Cruises, a privately owned luxury cruise line. She entered service in 1994 as Silversea’s first ship, and set the scene for the line’s next three vessels, beginning with her sister ship, Silver Wind, launched in 1995.

AIDAcara

AIDAcara

AIDAcara was built for Deutsche Seetouristik/Arkona Reisen as a Clubschiff (Club Ship), and was launched in 1996 under the name AIDA. When P&O Cruises purchased a controlling stake in Arkona Reisen in 1999, they transferred the ship, and it became part of the new AIDA Cruises fleet, and was named AIDAcara, after two of its sister ships entered operation, AIDAvita and AIDAaura.

Ocean Majesty

Ocean Majesty was launched as Juan March for the Madrid based ferry operator Trasmediterránea. She was the first of two near identical Albatros-class sisters, the other being the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. During her service with her original owners Juan March was mainly used to ferry passengers from Spain to the Balearic Islands.

Mein Schiff 1

MV Mein Schiff 1 is a Century class cruise ship owned and operated by TUI Cruises. She was built in 1996 at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany as MV Galaxy for Celebrity Cruises,and renamed Celebrity Galaxy in 2008. In May 2009 she transferred to the fleet of TUI Cruises, a joint venture between Celebrity Cruises’ owner Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and TUI AG. The ship was renamed MV Mein Schiff (English: my ship) on 15 May 2009.In November 2010, she was renamed to Mein Schiff 1.

Celebrity Silhouette

Celebrity Silhouette is the fourth ship in the Solstice class, her sister ships being Celebrity Equinox, Celebrity Eclipse, Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Reflection. Solstice, Equinox, and Eclipse entered service in 2008, 2009, and 2010, respectively. Silhouette was launched in 2011, and Reflection, the final ship in the Celebrity Solstice series, launched in 2012.

MS Prinsendam

MS Prinsendam

MS Prinsendam (formerly Seabourn Sun and Royal Viking Sun) is a cruise ship for Holland America Line and is nicknamed the Elegant Explorer. She was launched in 1988 as Royal Viking Sun for the Royal Viking Line, and was renamed “Seabourn Sun” when Seabourn Cruise Line acquired the ship in 1999. Shortly after, in 2002, Seabourn wished to concentrate on smaller vessels. So, in 2002, they transferred the ship to Holland America Line, where she was renamed the Prinsendam.

MV Deutschland

MV Deutschland

Launched in 1998 MS Deutschland is a German-registered cruise ship owned and operated by Peter Deilmann Cruises. She is decorated in the Art Deco style made famous by such classic ocean liners as the SS Ile de France and SS Normandie. The German television show Das Traumschiff (The Dream Ship), which is similar to the US-made show The Love Boat, is set aboard the Deutschland.

MV Island Sky

Our much loved MS Island Sky underwent a significant multi-million pound refurbishment in May 2010 to make her one of the finest small ships in the world. With a maximum passenger capacity of only 116, a vessel of her size is capable of carrying many more but instead the MS Island Sky has the benefit of unusually large suites, luxuriously appointed public areas and spacious outside decks.

Azamara Quest

Azamara Quest is an R-class cruise ship that entered service for Azamara Cruises on October 24, 2007. She was built in 2000 for Renaissance Cruises as R Seven. In 2006 she was sold to the Spain-based Pullmantur Cruises and renamed Blue Moon. She sailed for Pullmantur until 2007 when she was transferred to Azamara Cruises.

MV Britannia

MV Britannia is a cruise ship under construction for P&O Cruises, planned to enter service in 2015. Britannia’s first captain will be Captain Paul Brown, who is now the captain of Azura, the sister ship to P&O’s current largest vessel, Ventura. Britannia will feature a 94 metre Union Jack flag on her bow, the largest of its kind in the world.

Club Med 1 was launched in 1989 in Société Nouvelle des Ateliers et Chantiers du Havre, France. Club Med 1 made her maiden voyage in 1990, and sailed for Club Med for 8 years. Then in 1998, Club Med 1 was sold to Windstar Cruises and renamed Wind Surf. The ship was based on Windstar Cruises’ smaller 5,350-ton, 148-passenger Wind Star, Wind Spirit and Wind Song motor sailing yachts.

MS Eurodam

MS Eurodam

MS Eurodam is a Signature class cruise ship for Holland America Line. Eurodam is the 80th ship to enter Holland America’s service and, at 86,700 tons and carrying 2,104 passengers, she is the largest largest Holland America ship to date.

MS Star Legend is a striking ship providing a superb cruise experience to discerning passengers in luxurious public rooms where the finest quality is used throughout. Star Legend passengers tend to be 30/40+ and Smart international set. When all cabins have double occupancy, the ship provides a space ratio of 47.1 tons per passenger and a crew to passenger ratio of one for every 1.4 passengers. At full capacity the space ratio is 48 tons per passenger and the crew ratio is one to 1.4 passengers. departing the Seabourn fleet in April 2015, and will enter service for Windstar Cruises in May 2015.

MV Balmoral is a vintage excursion ship owned by the Waverley Steam Navigation Co. Ltd, a preservation charity. Her principal area of operation is the Bristol Channel, although she also operates day excursions to other parts of the United Kingdom.

MV Minerva

The first Minerva is a cruise ship built in 1989, and originally intended as a Soviet research vessel, the Okean. The deal to purchase her fell through and she was purchased by Swan Hellenic in 1996, and renamed Minerva.

Louis Aura

From 1968 until 1995, the Louis Aura was operated by Norwegian Cruise Lines as the Starward, and was their first purpose-built ship along with her near identical sister, the Skyward. The M/S Starward was featured in the 1975 movie Peeper starring Natalie Wood and Michael Caine. After 1995, she was operated as the Bolero by Greek line Festival Cruises until the company’s collapse in 2004 when she was purchased for $9.5 million by Abou Merhi Lines and received a $10–$15 million renovation.

Christened by Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge on June 13, 2013. Called one of the “Most Popular Ships at Sea” by Cruise Critic, she’s already won five prestigious Travel Weekly Magellan Awards in the Large Ship, Atrium, Spa, Pool and Mobile App Design categories. MS Royal Princess is a cruise ship operated by Princess Cruises, and the third ship to sail for the cruise line under that name.

MS Amadea is a cruise ship owned by Amadea Shipping Company and operated under charter by the Germany-based Phoenix Reisen. She was originally built in 1991 by the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries shipyard in Nagasaki, Japan as MS Asuka for Nippon Yusen Kaisha. In 2006 she was sold to her current owners and entered service with Phoenix Reisen.
